Solar pool heaters … ideas on how to make one?
I have a pool in a field of 13,000 gallons of use a blanket to retain heat solar, but I like to swim earlier and later in the year and I was thinking of building my own solar water heater. Your suggestions are welcome please! I thought of a 6 'XX 3' 6 "depth of the case until very thick tube back on the other side, where the water is returned to the pool. The box class will focus head heat and hot water passively, I think. Other suggestions or ideas on materials to use? I draw water from the filter without adding a separate pump. I decided to put my camera on the roof of the house, not my house, if the size limit is important.
This reminds me of the establishment you work in a limited way to heat the water needed to raise the temperature of 5-8 degrees. If you want to be a relatively inexpensive project simply extend the bathing season, I think we on the right track. Good luck!
